Description
This Colt 1911 clone is dated 1941 on right slide, produced in Norway and widely used by both the Nazis and with the Resistance. This example has all the Norwegian proofs and no Nazi marks but was made in 1941. The German occupation of Norway began on April 9th, 1940, so the 1941 date clearly puts this pistol as manufactured under Nazi occupation. Matching numbers on frame, slide, safety and slide stop. Sports pre-war style diamond checkered walnut grips specially made for the distinctive slide stop. Features long smooth trigger, short wide spur hammer, all checkered small parts, and flat mainspring housing with lanyard. Magazine is numbered to another gun (101047). Pistol is in excellent condition, retaining approximately 90% of the arsenal applied blue-black finish. Fine bore and action. Nice example of a fairly scarce World War II 1911 style pistol.Accessories: NoneBarrel Length: 5"Caliber/Bore: .45 ACPFFL Status: Curio & RelicManufacturer: Kongsberg VaapenfabrikkModel: 1914Paperwork: No Serial Number: 26049 Condition: Dimensions:
