Chinese Ming Dynasty XuanDe Blue and White Dragon Porcelain High Bowl With Japanese Wooden Box. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick, flori form rim with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the close mouth rim, raised on high foot base deep concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. Made in The Years XuanDe Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
