Description

Rare thermoplastic Union Case with halfplate outdoor tintype. The case is categorized as Berg1-3R (Washington Monument w/Seraphs and Eagles border ( very rare ) on one side and Ber 1-7 ( empty oval w/Seraphs and Eagle border (rare) on the other side. The half plate tintype is of a rural scene of a gentleman in his horse and buggy, the horse being held by another man, in front of an old barn structure. The case is in mint condition, with sharp corners, no cracks, strong hinges and clicks shut.
