Honus Wagner (February 24, 1874 – December 6, 1955). Rare Honus Wagner signed Spalding Baseball. Boldly signed in black ink across the sweet spot of the baseball and inscribed as the Pirates Coach. His sweet spot signature upon this creamy white baseball is a particularly tough autograph despite his many years in uniform, first a a player and later as a coach of the Pittsburgh Pirates. John McGraw hat a tremendous respect for this Hall of Famer, he once said of Wagner, “You can have your Cobbs, your Lajoies, your Chases, your Bakers, but I’ll take Wagner as my pick of the greatest.” This item comes with a Letter of Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators.
