Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A dainty rectangular glass dish with beautiful yellow-green hues. The vessel sits on a flat base and rises up with short walls that resolve in a rounded rim. The shallow interior cavity boasts beautiful rainbow and silvery iridescence that developed on the surface over the ages. This is a beautiful piece of Roman glassware that sits nicely in the palm of your hand. Size: 4.25" L x 2.75" W x 1.125" H (10.8 cm x 7 cm x 2.9 cm)
