Gehman was best known for her painting of Bucks County. She lived most of her life in Allentown, PA. She studied with Walter Emerson Baum. In 1946, Gehman became a faculty memeber and taught still life at the Baum School of Art. Her work is exhibied all over the United States and she has a permanent exhibition at the Baum School of Art. The work is recorded as original, certified on the reverse by the artist. The artist is pictured and numbered in M. Gehman Cataloge Rensonnise her lifetime works. 16" h x 20" w.
