Description
Mid 20th century folk art carved wooden miniature model of the Lake Champlain sidewheel steamboat S.S. Chateaugay handcrafted in 1971 by Frederick A. Brice Sr. (1917-1988) of Burlington, Vermont, with polychrome paint decorated elements, captain figure, and canvas ticking coverings. The S.S. Chateaugay was originally constructed in 1837. 15.5" x 45" x 10" overall in plexiglass case, in excellent condition
