Description
20th century folk art carved wooden miniature half hull model of the Lake Champlain sidewheel steamboat S.S. Reindeer handcrafted in 1984 by Frederick A. Brice Sr. (1917-1988) of Burlington, Vermont, with polychrome paint decorated elements, captain figure, and gilded pilot house eagle. The S.S. Reindeer was originally constructed in 1888, and converted to a ferry boat in 1925. 15.5" x 28.5" x 3.76" overall in shadow box case, in excellent condition
