Antique African Pende Sanza / Thumb Piano. 19th C Wood and metal thumb piano from the Democratic Republic of Congo or Angola used in ritual ceremonies. Measures 41 cm L x 18 W. From a Montreal private collection inherited by familial descent to the current owner. From a Montreal private collection and exhibited in several public and private galleries. A Certificate of Authenticity signed by Dr. K. Kia Bunseki Fu-Kiau, Dr. Niangi Batulukisi will be included for the purchaser of this lot.
