TWO CHINESE SILVER GILT TIAN-TSUI HAIRPIN ORNAMENTS, QING DYNASTY. Kingfisher feather inlaid with various stone beads decorated with silver gilt Shou character, endless knot, fish, bats etc. Approx. 8-10cm lengths. (2) Provenance: Property of Lieut. Colonel Thomas Sands Kenwrick Cox. Purchased during his time in China circa 1900, thence by descent. This lot is offered without reserve. One bead missing to smaller item. Both with areas of loss to the blue king fisher inlay - see photos.
