Description
1951 Autopede Open carousel Carriage with 2 passenger seats and 2 coachmen seats meant to be pulled by 2 horses carved out of wood on which 2 more children could also sit. Until 1955, the Belgian woodcarver Bernard van Guyse was responsible for all wooden creations, such as horses and deer, which then formed a whole with the Autopede attributes. The manufacture of the carriages was equivalent to the number of (couples of) horses that the woodcarver could supply. Total number produced approx. 150 pieces. Height: 77 cm. Width: 87 cm. Depth: 130 cm. Condition: Good. Location: The Netherlands, Tilburg.
