Description
Nineteen (19) pieces sterling, coin, and Continental silver and silverplated flatware and hollowware. 1st-7th items: Seven (7) "Basket of Flowers" pattern coin silver spoons, including one (1) tablespoon marked A. BRASIER in elongated oval for Amabel Brasier (working Philadelphia, PA, circa 1791-1833); and six (6) teaspoons marked E. CURRIER and PURE COIN in rectangles for Edmund Currier (working Salem, MA, circa 1792-1853). 5.080 total troy ounces coin silver. 8th item: Continental, likely French or Hanau, silver figural master salt with two bird figures to rim and doe lying curled around the stem upon a plinth base, marked with unidentified hallmarks to rim, marked RP to body. Tests .925 with possible non-silver cross bracing to underside. 3 5/8" H x 5 1/4" W x 4 3/8" D. 9th-12th items: Four (4) English sterling silver flatware pieces in the Kings pattern, including one (1) George IV fork marked for R. Peppin, London, Sterling, 1825; one (1) George IV fork marked for Thomas Farnett, Dublin, 1828-9; one (1) Victoria tablespoon marked for George William Agams for Chawner & Co., London, Sterling, 1875; and one (1) Victoria tablespoon marked for Joseph II & Albert Savoy, London, 1844, and journeyman's "B" mark. 13th-14th items: Two (2) English George IV fiddleback pattern stuffing or serving spoons marked for William Eaton, London, and 1832. 15th item: Gorham sterling silver tablespoon stamped with makers mark, STERLING, patent number, and retailer BERNAYS & ROECK. 23.375 total weighable troy ounces sterling. 16th item: Rogers Bros. silverplated cream ladle with bas relief classical figure to handle, stamped with makers mark and 1847. Flatware ranging in size from 5 7/8" L to 11 7/8" L. 17th item: George II silverplated repousse creamer with naturalistic handle, ribbed body, foliate applied accents, and snake-form foot, unmarked, circa 1745. 4 1/4" H x 5" W x 2 3/4" D. 18th-19th items: Silverplated, likely Old Sheffield plated chamberstick with scalloped, foliate edges having snuffer with bud-form finial fitted into handle and a pair of wick scissors fitted within compartment below candleholder, unmarked. Overall 3 1/2" H x 7" W x 6 1/4" D.

Deaccessioned by the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts Foundation to benefit the acquisitions fund.
Condition
All items with minor scattered surface scratches. Some pieces monogrammed.
