Condition
The Gem and Pearl Laboratory have further clarified that all five rubies have been tested - four rubies showed typical inclusions for Burma, with one end stone relatively clean and no typical Burma-type inclusions. The rubies of richly saturated deep red and deep magenta hues with good transparency. Under 10 X magnification, some natural mineral, feather and silk inclusions seen with surface abrasions to some facets/facet edges. One of the larger side stones with two eye visible chips to crown. Unmarked/untested yellow metal with light surface wear, some areas of discolouration and evidence of resizing to base of band. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approx. 5.0 grams.
