RUBY HALF HOOP RING, LATE 19TH CENTURY
The five cushion-shaped rubies graduating in size towards the centre, with rose-cut diamond pointers to a pierced and engraved gallery of scroll design, rubies approximately 6.10 carats, ring size M½

Accompanied by a report from GCS stating that the rubies are of Burmese origin with no indications of heat treatment. Report number 5776-4880, dated 15th March 2016.

Condition
The rubies are a range of vibrant medium pinkish red and magenta hues. Some colour zoning and natural mineral inclusions visible under 10 X magnification with a few eye visible silk inclusions in two of the rubies. Some facets/facet edges with minor chips/abrasions also visible upon close inspection. Inside band stamped 18CT. Untested yellow metal with some surface wear. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approx. 6.5 grams.
