East Asia, China, Ming Dynasty, ca. 1368 to 1644 CE. A lovely pottery jar enveloped in a lustrous white glaze with blue-painted decoration of scrolling floral motifs. Boasting an elegant presentation, the vessel displays an annular rim, a brief neck, and a sloped shoulder that leads to a broad hip forming a bulbous body, all supported by a ring-form foot. Size: 8.3" Diameter x 6.8" H (21.1 cm x 17.3 cm)

This piece has been tested using thermoluminescence (TL) analysis and has been found to be ancient and of the period stated. A full printed and bound report is available to the buyer upon request.
