Chinese Ming Dynasty Xuande Blue and White Porcelain Cricket Jar. Potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick and cylindrical body, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the close mouth rim with flat dome lid, raised on a ring foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color depicted of abundant flower bloom with lush foliage. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Xuande Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
