DESCRIPTION: Antique Royal Navy Officers presentation sword featuring a brass lions head pommel with a ring in its jaws and mane running the length of the backstrap over a ribbed fish skin grip, a S form crossguard with acorn form ends with a royal navy crest in relief at the center as well as etched at one side of the blade, alongside symmetrical foliage depictions, and "Dieuet Droit Mon" crest at the other side of the blade. The scabbard is wrapped in black leather, has a brass ferrule and mouthpiece etched with scrolling designs, two suspension rings, and a button latch that threads through the crossguard.
