Description
PA Chippendale Walnut Tall Chest of Drawers. Circa 1780. Cove molded cornice over 1-over-2-over-5 drawers flanked by fluted corner columns and solid ends over a base having ogee bracket feet. Provenance: A small drawer has a label reading: "Belongs to Richard Randolph Parry. Bought away from 'The Old Parry Mansion' Bucks County, Penna." (The Parry Mansion Museum is located in New Hope, PA. as the current home of the New Hope Historical Society). 68-1/2"h. x 43"w. x 24"d. Condition: Very good, refinished, some restoration to feet.
