唐朝造像飽滿、磅礴大氣、豐腴優美，為此時期重要特徵。佛首面龐圓潤，法相莊嚴，頭部雕飾密布的 螺旋肉髻，細眉彎彎與高挺的鼻樑形成了優雅的的弧度，自然優美，雙目呈豆莢狀，微微俯視前方，眼瞼微微凸起，臉頰豐滿平滑，雙唇微抿，雙耳肥厚自然下垂，以紅彩繪飾額間的圓點和嘴唇，更添神韻，極富動感，雕刻技法則由平直刀法向圓轉刀法轉變明顯，精湛嫻熟，在表現風格方面，更注重於面部肌肉的表現，神情真實強烈，生動寫實，五官比例幾近完美，肌肉線條誇張流暢，實為中國雕塑藝術中特有的寫意手法。
