Patterned cream silk evening cloak w/ raised weft in classical stylized leaf & undulating band motif on satin ground, natural ostrich feather rows applied to silk organza bands at neckline & above hem, lined in pale peach panne velvet, label "Paquin Made in France, Hiver 1924-1925, Paris, Londres Buenos-Aires” original design by Madeleine Wallis, Ete 1924, croquis held in V&A Collection accession # E.4145-1957. Described as "White evening cloak with gold lame brocade pattern & ostrich feather trimming", SH-SH 19", L 52", (3" seam opening b/t lining & left lapel, bent & missing feathers, few tiny spot stains & pulls, tiny-0.5" holes & repaired seams all to lining) very good. From the Collection of A.T. Jones & Sons.
