Nevada C.T. postmark on cover sent to Weathersfield, Vermont. 3 cent red Washington stamp. This cancel is listed in Kansas Territory and Gilpin County, Colorado, operating from 1861-1869, at which point the post office name changed to Bald Mountain. Known as Nevada, Nevada City, and Nevadaville. Located south of Central City. Founded at the beginning of the Colorado Gold Rush, 1859.
