Description
Weld County, 1866-1869, then PO moved to Julesburg. Cover sent to John Kurtz in Boston. Weak strike. Target killer on 3 cent Washington stamp. U.S. military post from 1864 to 1871, one mile west of Julesburg. Named after John Sedgwick, who was a major general in the Union Army during the American Civil War.
