Relined. Flaking with some pigment loss in the lower-left corner. Point of pigment loss at the sitter's chest. Overall varnish visible under UV light. Points of restoration with overpainting at the sitter's hat, hair, shoulder, left ear, right eye, left hand and the dog's face. Some overpainting to the background to the left of the sitter. Repairs to the left and lower left corner of the frame.
