Three majolica compotes: 1. Raised maple leaf design on a pink ground; trunk-like base; underside impressed with Griffen, Smith & Hill mark and with letter "C"; 9 3/8" dia., 5 1/4"H---2. Bowl with raised vine and berry design around exterior, base having a scalloped foot and decorated with raised yellow pears; 10" dia., 7 1/8"H---3. Gold brick pattern ground with raised white flower on green leaves at center, naturalistic base; 10" dia., 4 3/4"H---all in good condition (Ref. 286)
