DESCRIPTION: Clement & Jung Model 1840 Heavy Dragoon US Civil War sword with brass hilt comprised of three open work s curves over the wood handle, a steel scabbard with suspension rings, and a wide fuller as well as a second thin fuller at the top.
Stamped with hallmark at the face of the ricasso "C&J".
CIRCA: Mid 19th Century
ORIGIN: USA
DIMENSIONS: H: 5" X W: 4" X L: 42.75", & Blade L: 35.87"
CONDITION: Wear with age. Heavy patina to the scabbard. Oxidation to the blade and heavy wear to the edge with use. See lot description for details on item condition.
