Signed letter from the opera composer Giacomo Puccini (Italian 1858-1924) sent to his business manager Antonio Bertolacci, from the Grand Hotel, Budapest, May 15, 1906, discussing the premiere of "Madama Butterfly", his arduous multiple European city tour, and the "Extraordinary Arses and Tits", framed together with the original envelope, and black and white photograph. Note: While in Budapest for the May 12, 1906 opening of "Madama Butterfly", Puccini began an affair with the sister of Hungarian composer Ervin Lendvai, Blanke. They would exchange letters until 1911. Sight approx. h. 10.75", w. 8.5" (letter); Overall h. 17.5", w. 20.5", d. 1".
