English George III mahogany and mahogany veneered tea caddy, 19th century, having inlaid shell medallions, satinwood banding, parquetry inlay, and patera to the inner lid, apparently unmarked. Provenance: Previously sold in these rooms, Ahlers & Ogletree Auction Gallery, Atlanta, Georgia, Multiple Estates, November 15, 2014, sale 20, lot 231. Approx. h. 5.75", w. 5.5", d. 6".
Condition
Stable crack to top with veneer damage, interior lid is curved, key is not present.
