The revolutionary was in 1789. This map was a late addition to the atlas and was a large fold out map the largest in the atlas. Shows France with its new 89 administrative regions. 1794 edition by Robert de Vaugondy/ Delamarche, from "Nouvel Atlas Portatif", posthumously published. Vaugondy was appointed geographer to the king Louis IV in 1760. Hand colored copper plate engraved. Published in Paris. Created to educate young people. Authenticity Guaranteed.
