Apollo 11 & Moon Photos, 16 Remarkable Rarely Encountered Images

A group of sixteen photographs, all measuring approximately 11.75" x 8", Houston, Texas, ca. July-August 1969. The collection of AP Wirephotos document the events just prior to, during, and following the moon landing, with rarely seen images of astronauts Armstrong, Aldrin, and Collins. All with typed captions, five of the images with Spanish captions. All have been mounted to a slightly larger backing sheet, making the verso unable to be viewed. With toning and soiling to the mounting sheets and captions. Varying degrees of soiling, toning and silvering to the photographs. Please refer to the images for further condition information.

Neil Armstrong, Edwin Aldrin, and Michael Collins televised press conference (July 15, 1969)
Ridges and Craters on Mars Surface, taken by Mariner 6 (August 1, 1969)
Edwin Aldrin talks during a telecast from the spaceship (July 23, 1969)
Neil Armstrong talks during a telecast from the spaceship (July 23, 1969)
