Description
The Chauferette was a small heating vessel for specific use such as the center of a sewing circle to keep the legs on during the winter or to warm the area of the bed. This Chauferette built with a large lid and handle. 18th C. Stonge, Bordeaux. Dimensions: H 13.5" x W 11.5" x D 9" Condition: Areas with small losses to glaze including a few glaze skips. Some surface dust.

All the items in this auction remain at our Gallery in Norwalk, CT for pickup or shipping. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Monday, August 1st - Friday, August 12th, WEEKDAYS ONLY, 9-5.
