Great lithograph of a cartoon satirizing Hermann Goring and his famous quote, 9.5 x 13 in. color by a Polish cartoonist in Gottingen, 1945 showing Goring in uniform with baton in hand and a geranium in his left palm, marching through the streets of ruined Berlin. He declares: 'If one British bomb falls on Berlin, my name is Meier - I will cry that sooner my geranium will grow on my hand' An angry young man behind Goring points at him, calling him (of course): 'MEIER!!' Fine condition.
