Rare and highly desirable Afrika Korps Pionier's overseas cap, tropical eagle cap emblem machine sewn above matching cockade. The cockade in turn is surrounded by inverted black 'V' piping indicating that the wearer was a member of the Pioniers, the engineers branch of the Wehrmacht. The cap is lined in red cloth and ink stamps within show the maker as 'Willy Sprengpfen Mutzenfabrik', along with a size ink stamp of '56' and a manufacture date of '1942'.
