Item Details

Description

Maroon fez worn by Muslim members of the 14th SS Division Handschar. Maroon felt construction with fully authentic SS eagle and totenkopf insignia in gray thread machine sewn to the fez with black thread evident on the inside. The tassel has been hand-sewn to the body of the fez, as is usually the case. The tan leather sweatband is completely intact. Likely a Dachau depot find, in excellent condition.
