First Model Luftwaffe Dagger with Scabbard. A good example of this dagger, the blue leather grip intact and only lightly scuffed with the wire wrap taut. The round pommel is a bit pitted, as is is the crossguard - both however remain entirely acceptable. The 12 in. blade, unmarked, is in very good condition, retaining a sharp point and showing running marks only along its high central ridge. The blue leather buffer pad at the base of the grip is still in place. The scabbard is in very good condition, the leather bearing a couple of tiny chips and is a bit dull but with no tears or splits. The fittings to the dagger are also very good, with only a tiny ding to the bottom fitting. A chain type hanger is also present.
