Ce bijou s'inscrit dans la lignée des clips et pendentifs de Cartier célébrant la Liberté retrouvée avec l'oiseau sortant de sa cage. André Col était installé 10 avenue Victor Hugo et eut l'idée originale de s'entourer d'artistes tels que le dessinateur-illustrateur Mella et le photographe Jacques Aubin, donnant ainsi à ces créations un tour très personnel.

A MESSAGE OF HOPE AFTER WORLD WAR II

An original period document to evoke the Liberation and the return to happy life. This piece of jewelery is in line with Cartier's clips and pendants celebrating rediscovered freedom with the bird emerging from its cage. André Col was based at 10 avenue Victor Hugo and had the original idea of surrounding himself with artists such as the cartoonist-illustrator Mella and the photographer Jacques Aubin, thus giving these creations a very personal twist.
