Flores Cotton Ikat Sarong, Indonesia, Mid 20th C. "Lawo luka semba", woman's tubular garment of cotton, with patterning in warp ikat with a patola based pattern. Patterned with striped designs in brown and black with touches of blue-green. Sewn from three pieces, joined at selvage edges. Size: 4'9'' x 2'2'' (145 x 66 cm). Provenance: Ex. Roger Hollander collection.
