A LOUIS XVI GILTWOOD CANAPE
By Henri Jacob, late 18th century
The back rail and frame decorated with a carved stiff leaf border with out-swept padded armrests terminating in a scroll, on tapering fluted legs, each surmounted by patera, stamped H.JACOB, upholstered in Chinoiserie patterned silk, 89cm wide x 59cm deep x 99.5cm high, (35in wide x 23in deep x 39in high)
