Condition
The aryballos appears to be in tact with no visible signs of repair or restoration. The stopper lid is well fitting. Some of the chain suspension links have probably been repaired and a few replaced. The surface has been cleaned leaving an attractive green and mottled red cuprite patina. There is some overall surface wear including pitting and scratching with some slight encrustation remaining, particularly on the underside of the base and the mouth interior.
