A Roman marble relief fragment
Circa 1st-2nd Century A.D.
Carved in high relief with a river god reclining against a rocky outcrop, his right hand holding an overturned amphora with flowing water, his left hand holds a bunch of flowers, a tree to the left of the relief and a simple moulded motif along the bottom right and top left of the panel, 39cm x 57cm
