A Hellenistic bronze mirror cover
Circa 3rd Century B.C.
Depicting in relief Eros and Psyche, seated upon a rocky outcrop their bodies turned out but their heads facing inwards, their gaze upwards; Psyche on the left wearing a chiton and a flowing himation, Eros on the right holding his bow, attached to a later Roman mirror, 12.5cm diam.
