Description
A Chinese famille verte covered teapot, dating from the Kangxi period (1661-1722). Ornate shape and design over and oval base that expands outwards then tapers back to the neck, similar to a vase shape. Rounded loves around the body. Within the design are ducks in the water at the base of the trees and flowers. Three small feet at the base to lift the teapot slightly up.
