Decorated in dark green glaze the teapot features illustrations on two sides; an elegant couple, possibly landowners, and their dog, looking out over a river at a grand country house, a boat in the mid ground. The other side a reclining man enjoying leisure looking over a river at a grand country house. Cover decorated with a landscape scene with mountain in the distance, a conical finial topped with gilt.
