One jar: sustains a 1.5" heat crack from firing in the center of the lid. The interior of the lid shows an old hairline crack but this is not visible from the exterior. There is one small nick to the finial. There are several old fleabites to the jar mouth and more on the footrim. Other jar: The exterior rim of the lid has surface chipping and wear to the porcelain. There are several tiny nicks to the glaze on the finial and some darkened scuffs on the lid. The interior rim of the lid sustains several small, old chips. This jar also has some old nicks to the footrim. Both jars: bear some ash deposits from firing throughout, light age appropriate surface scuffs, and several spots of hardened adhesive residue. Overall both are in very good condition and free from restoration
