Lot Note(s): Signed in pencil, lower right recto; collectors ink stamps, verso. Painted on cream wove paper. Overall condition is good to very good; a repaired 3/8" tear at the left center edge, away from the image; pinhole in the upper right, away from the image; overall presents very well. Csaky was a Hungarian avant-garde artist, sculptor, and graphic artist, best known for his early participation in the Cubist movement as a sculptor. A pioneer of modern sculpture, he is among the most important sculptors of the early 20th century.
