John Sennhauser (American, 1907-1978). Ink and watercolor painting on paper titled "Invention #9" depicting a colorful geometric abstract composition with bursts of black lines emanating from a central point, 1942. Signed and dated along the lower right.

Condition
The sheet is toned. There are some light creases visible throughout. Along the center of the composition there are three dark spots; there is another dark spot along the lower left corner. There are smaller spots of foxing and soiling throughout. There is a tear near the lower right corner extending upwards from the bottom edge approximately 2.5 inches. Framed under plexiglass; ligth wear to the frame. The extreme edges and verso of the work have not been inspected; not inspected out of frame.
