319 十八世紀 白玉雙鳳尊

ARCHAISTIC COLLECTION
白玉質，質地潤澤凝秀，含蓄內斂。尊分蓋與身，子母口相合，底承圈足。蓋呈橢圓形隆起，頂設中空捉鈕，鈕兩側出如意雲形耳，耳下活環，蓋面琢變形如意雲紋。橢圓形尊口，束頸，鼓腹，腹部兩側分別延伸為鳳鳥昂首之姿，圓眼勾喙，頂戴花翎，頸上翎羽颯颯，添其豐姿華美。頦下設活環，雙翅攏於身側。瓶身中央雙鳳相交處琢繾綣雲紋，雲朵彎繞，線條婉約。雙鳳和諧共舞，寓意雙鳳朝陽、比翼雙飛，不僅象徵夫妻和睦，亦有高潔清逸的美好祝願。
在古代，鳳鳥是種威力無比的神鳥，是原始氏族的神靈之物，在歷史上具神秘色彩，其形象在各類藝術中甚為流行。又《論語》子曰：「鳳鳥不至，河不出圖，洛不出書，吾已矣夫！」、《異物志》：「其鳥五色成文，丹喙赤頭，頭上有冠，鳴曰天下太平，王者有道則見。」可見鳳鳥在後期已失去殷商時期神聖的圖騰意義，而轉變成象徵王權吉祥、天下安寧的瑞鳥，是和美高貴的完美主義化身。
明末清初，為玉器仿古的另一重要時期，文人與士大夫以追求古雅精緻的棲居方式為時尚。與宋代相較，仿古器不僅數量多，且體量變大，以仿商、周青銅為主流，如玉尊、觶、壺⋯等。且乾隆帝對古器物相當關注，追慕商周青銅遺風，以追求「返樸還淳」、「形制古雅」為樂趣，仿古風潮大為盛行。本品從器型審視，大英博物館庋藏商晚期〈雙羊尊〉，可作仿古造形範本，然在製作過程中，受限玉材形狀與大小，出現權宜性的增減修改，進而帶動創新。台北國立故宮博物院庋藏清〈白玉雙鳳尊〉，與本品皆以兩背對的鳳鳥為造形，淺浮雕表現鳥翅和羽毛，鳳首立雕於器肩部，設計頗具巧思。細觀之，本件〈白玉雙鳳尊〉雕工俐落，掏膛勻淨，以青銅器尊為造形，為仿古器之代表作，實為玉雕陳設佳品。
