瓶取整料白玉雕製而成，玉質細潤，寶光瑩瑩。直口，長頸，溜肩，扁圓腹，腹下漸收，下承橢圓形高圈足。長頸高浮雕行龍穿梭，追逐火珠，為典型游龍趕珠紋配搭。龍首威嚴，頂雙角，圓眼凸睛，注視火珠，隆鼻闊嘴，鬚髮飛揚。身軀似蛇纖長蜿蜒，肌肉飽滿健壯，鱗片層層分明，四爪勁健有力，造形生動，氣奪千里。瓶身光素無紋，壁面平滑，掏膛乾淨俐落，顯示「良玉不雕」的審美趣味。
清代時興琢製瓶類器皿，玉瓶在清代玉器中佔有一定比例，其造形、體積、玉質及器物上的圖案也多有變化。本瓶以龍戲珠為裝飾，戲珠龍紋題材始於五代，是明清瓷器裝飾的典型龍紋，俗稱趕珠龍，又稱龍戲珠，象徵人們對美好生活的追求。今北京故宮博物院庋藏清中期〈和闐玉龍戲珠瓶〉，雕琢題材、造形皆與本品相似，可資參考。
拍場相似之例可參見拍賣於北京保利2016年12月6日，編號5878，清十八世紀〈白玉高浮雕雲龍瓶〉，其形制、紋飾皆與本品極為相似。本件玉瓶清淡高雅，包漿自然，白玉的純凈與圓滑曲線相輔相成，更顯典雅端莊。然蟠龍以高浮雕、鏤雕等技法琢製，刀法剛勁有力，龍身肌肉、脊椎、鱗片等細節紋理更是刻劃精細，身姿活靈活現，造形搭配構思卓絕，極富美學造詣。
