Pre-Columbian West Mexican Figure Assortment
(4) hollow-bodied items, including a Jalisco seated male, cross-armed, having traces of paint; a Michoacan seated female; a Nayarit painted seated 'peyote eater' having a bowl on knee; and a tube-like figure open at top and bottom; together with a Mayan Jaina style seated solid figurine accompanied by a bag of fragments
Provenance: The Estate of George 'Yorgo' Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan from 1965-2000

Height: 11 inches, Width: 7 inches, Depth: 8 inches (tallest)
Condition: Good to Fair, overall moderate to heavy wear consistent with normal use; Jalisco having broken leg (present); Nayarit lacks a leg; Michoacan having hair-line crack along side nose; Mayan having loss to arm and headdress, some pieces present in bag
