Tammy Wynette's Personally Owned Gibson L-00 Guitar Acquired From George Ritchey W/COA - This 1936 Gibson L-00 guitar was personally owned by Grammy Award winning country music artist, Tammy Wynette. Wynette was famous for her hit "Stand By Your Man." The song reached No. 1 on the country charts and No. 19 on the pop charts. From 1968-1970 Tammy Wynette won three consecutive Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year honors. Wynette was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1998. This Gibson L-00 guitar was acquired by Jimmy Velvet from Wynette's husband George Ritchey. The piece will come with a certificate of authenticity from Jimmy Velvet's The Legends Collection along with a photograph of Velvet and George Ritchey with the guitar. On the back of the photo is a handwritten note which reads, "1936 Gibson Ser# 926 Tammy Wynette owned it for over 20 years. Purchased from her husband in 2001." The guitar will come with a hard case.
