Kiss-Ace Frehley and Paul Stanley Personally Owned and Used Guitar Picks W/LOA - This lot of three guitar picks were used by rock and roll icons, Ace Frehley and Paul Stanley of one of the most influential rock bands of all time, Kiss. The picks come with a letter of provenance from Jordan Nix, the son of the late Terry Nix, who was a giant in the music industry and a memorabilia collector. Terry Nix was partners famed guitar Lutheran Steve Carr, who left Nix much of his collection when he passed in 2006. The letter of provenance states in part, "When my father died in a car accident in 2019, he left his collection to me. This guitar pick collection was obtained through his various years of collecting. These picks are absolutely genuine and were played by KISS throughout their various tours." These guitar picks come from two true rock pioneers and icons, each in their own right. Paul Stanley is the Kiss co-founder, front man, rhythm guitarist and co-lead vocalist, and writer or co-writer of many of the band's most popular songs. Stanley has been ranked by Hit Parader as 18th on their list of the Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time, and by a Gibson readers' poll as 13th on their list of Top 25 Front men. Ace Frehley is also a co-founder of the group and the former lead guitarist. "Guitar World" magazine ranked him as the 14th Greatest Metal Guitarist of All Time, and his solos often incorporate the minor pentatonic scale and the use of vibratos.
